June 2015 Newsletter
Safarie Ete - Run – Christo en Sandra (En wonderlike helpers) – 7 Junie 2015
Before I start, I need to give special thanks to Kareen, who is always there when you need someone on short notice. With a smile and some great ideas – Thanks Lovely Lady! Much appreciated.

Kareen did the honours and made a super delicious Butternut Soup. Baie dankie Julle – Dit was voorwaar baie smaaklik!
I think everyone has seconds, some maybe thirds – Kareen manage to save some for Jan and Katjia as they had prior arrangements and would see us for mains.

Hierdie kombinasie is sowaar Fab! Thanks Kareen, Hennie & Yolande.

Sommer n “spirit of the moment” besluit wat deur Karin voorgestel is.

Liana het heel Satedagaand gestaan voor die stoof – Needles to say Ouboet were not very happy with me Ek skuld jou Boeta, dankie dat Mamma vir ons kom kook!!

Thanks again to all, Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. I look forward to the next run as well as the camp in Aug.

Next Run – Bonnet en Kop se Run. 12 July 2015.
The Taal Monument in Paarl is 40 years old this year and we don’t know how long it is still going to be with us. It is also one of those monuments that they (you know who I am referring to) want removed. So we have decided to go on a guided tour of the monument. Thereafter we are going to Fairview for some wine tasting. The wine tasting costs R30 per person and for this you get to taste 6 wines and a selection of cheeses. If you want to do only the Cheese tasting it will cost you R15 per person.
Pack in something to eat along the way – we will find a lekker spot somewhere along the road to stop for a quick chow.
We leave from Bothasig Shopright Centre at 10am.
Markus & Michael.
Ps. if it rains – we have a plan B.

Grappie grrrrr
Employee: Excuse me sir, may I talk to you?
Boss: Sure, come on in. What can I do for you?
Employee: Well sir, as you know, I have been an employee of this prestigious firm for over ten years.
Boss: Yes.
Employee: I won't beat around the bush. Sir, I would like a raise. I currently have four companies after me and so I decided to talk to you first.
Boss: A raise? I would love to give you a raise, but this is just not the right time.
Employee: I understand your position, and I know that the current economic down turn has had a negative impact on sales, but you must also take into consideration my hard work, pro- activeness and loyalty to this company for over a decade.
Boss: Taking into account these factors, and considering I don't want to start a brain drain, I'm willing to offer you a ten percent raise and an extra five days of vacation time. How does that sound?
Employee: Great! It's a deal! Thank you, sir!
Boss: Before you go, just out of curiosity, what companies were after you?
Employee: Oh, Truworths, Woolworths, Edgars & My Credit card.
